Caspian Scott is an award winning Australian composer. He loves to dream, compose, and record original music. He has a passion for teaching music to all ages and abilities.

Before graduating at the Australian National University in 2024, Caspian founded StrumTree, a company that provides group guitar classes to older adults. He enjoys giving his guitar students performance opportunities, and he himself loves to perform in aged care facilities, enriching the community through music.

In 2022, Caspian won the Iowa State University Carillon Composition Competition, sparking his interest in carillon music and composing.

Caspian has also written soundtracks for films by Bagapus Media, such as “The Little Spinster”, an LGBT drama feature film about a woman living in early 20th century Australia, and “Mortis Lux”, an award winning short-film about the character Death. Caspian’s love of composing music is inspired by his incredible beautiful wife, Tabitha, who is his best friend and favourite person.
